Building E21

  • winepress house and wine cellar, lot No. 272, of Marie Michalicová from the house No. 412 in Prušánky

The Záležák family is the oldest documented owner of the winepress house. Ondřej became the owner 1812 and his son Fabián in 1820. The latter owned the winepress house along with the vineyard in Nechory for fifty years. The estate was bought by Jan Čech in 1870 and his family owned it for next three generations – Jan, Antonín and Mikuláš – until the mid-20th century. The layout and construction are traditional - the building consists of the rectangular recessed winepress house connected with the underground cellar through a link.
